BULLSHIT. A LOT of us are red staters and always were we were stuck in blue states for a variety of different reasons and now were getting out in large numbers

Thus, migrants who flee from blue to red communities tend to be of two types: refugees or invaders. Refugees tend to assimilate. They respect the traditions of their newfound localities. Invaders, on the other hand, seem intent on turning red communities into replicas of the high tax and crime-ridden places they left.

The author defines refugees as people fleeing blue states to move to red states where they're more likely to fit in.

Yes I know but Im calling bullshit on the term. I don't NEED to assimilate to the area I moved to. I moved here because the residents thought as I already do. But its all semantics at the end of the day.
