I wish America was productive. Manufacturing died long ago. No we're consumer cattle.

America as a whole is "unproductive" in that we spend more than we have and no longer produce what we need ourselves. Indeed.

That's not what I was referring to. I am the productive individual that hasn't taken a dime of welfare. They are leeches on my back and as a whole, anyone who produces.

That makes sense. I misunderstood.

Side note, Germany went from squalor to superpower in under a decade so I have faith that no matter how terrible it gets, we can at least turn it around in 10 years time.

Ofc, but capitalism always creates a greater gdp that leans on and folds socialist countries w/ in a few decades. I wouldn't call the ccp ideological communists. They have an interesting system based on defrauding the globe regarding their gdp but we allow it b/c they manufacture so much. Unlike other countries they use 'new construction' as part of their gdp equation presented to the world. Hence ghost cities made of trash materials.
