I know a Canadian who lives illegal in the USA, He's been there at least thirty years. Problem is, he got married then divorced, but had two kids in between. When he went there he had a good job, but now he just scrapes buy the last thirty years. Never came back home. He's snuck across the border a couple of times, but tries to avoid it, lest they catch him and kick him out. Now he's old, can't collect a pension, and doesn't have enough money to survive old age. Who knows what will happen next? Maybe his kids will feed him.
