I met a local guy who has a sailing school. He was in the local coast guard and got a free boat after a hurricane. I helped him fix the motor and electronics on it. I had ZERO friends in the US for like a decade. It was horrible. Got invited to an English speaking Church by the maid. Half a dozen different millionaires from Europe go there. Great folks.
