imagine times 40, its just a pain in but. I would have to go memorize the last comment then switch it up.... no to mention new comments coming in

I realize this place isnt that (someday it will be), yeah but its something to IMO to keep in mind. makes things easier

Maybe someday, but at the moment it would require a significant code rewrite. I'm not saying its impossible but it would require a lot of effort and the focus right now is on performance. So keep it in your back pocket and maybe remind me a little while down the road. I've got a lot of ideas that I'd like to see happen so does @AOU and I'll throw this one in my back pocket.

I mean think about it this way, that would mean a serious database schema change(attaching a read/not value to every single comment), the last time we had to do that poal was down for 12 hours. Making that kind of a database change means shutting down then applying the change to the entire database. With the size of it now it could take a day to do that.
