Someone replied to my post and I got a notification of course and we had a few messages back and forth. Then someone else replied to one of the other guys comments which greatly added to the conversation but I do not get a notification of this. I only discovered it accidentally and now I am wondering how many comments I have missed in the past.

I suggest a notification of any comment on any comment in a post you posted and maybe even just any post that you have commented on at all.

Maybe this option already exists and I just don't know.

I have alternative suggestion if it's easier. It doesn't exactly do/solve the same thing. Alternative 4chan style flat comments view. That way comments are not hiding in deep comment trees. Nah, thinking about it it would require new ui etc so might not be simpler. OP suggestion is better nvm.

New comments and replies have a blue border/frame.
