NSFW is a blunt tool, a big hammer that has suited many parts of the internet just fine for decades. There seems to be some understanding of what "work" would deem appropriate or not, even if it wouldn't matter at one's particular workplace.

Is there merit in adding more grades to the scale?

Theoretically there are no users under 13 on the net because of whatever that law is.

Good idea. So much that is flagged as NSFW really isn't. I think it is overused here, but how to correct that, who knows.
