scale post values

If many posts are made in a day, then these post should be scaled down.

IMO there are lot of low value posts being made to gain points.

I am of two opinions here. Either these points matter or they don't. I guess it really doesn't matter, but if the community feels these points do matter than I feel that this correction should be made.

I'm not saying they matter. I'm saying I like the color blue more than red. Fuck we can all have blue names for all I care. Delete the points at the end of every month and we all start over. I just want a blue name.... Even the beginner color blue would work for me

Nah you need a ranking system for posts so the good/popular ones get pushed to the top of the front page. You would be surprised how many people don't browse all/new

How about clicks? Could stuff be ranked by clicks? I have no idea how this shit works, so sorry if that's totally stupid. I just really hate the whole up/downvote - thumbs up facebooky way of thinking our society has become. It was cool when Ebert and Siskel first started it back in the day on "Opening Soon at a Theater Near You" later known as "Sneak Previews" but....fuck, I'm too old and grumpy for this shithole planet.
