scale post values

If many posts are made in a day, then these post should be scaled down.

IMO there are lot of low value posts being made to gain points.

I am of two opinions here. Either these points matter or they don't. I guess it really doesn't matter, but if the community feels these points do matter than I feel that this correction should be made.

However even comments in threads worthy of attention are lacking on Poal.

Fair. It could be that people feel their input isn't worth much. I like comments on my posts a lot, but I figure I shouldn't comment much to others because they'd find it annoying/useless.

I personally love comments, that is what draws discussion, which for me is the best part of a board like this.

Let's look at some math. I've been here two months and have 431 comments.That would put me at around 2586 comments for a year...which is pretty darn good, don't ya think?
