scale post values

If many posts are made in a day, then these post should be scaled down.

IMO there are lot of low value posts being made to gain points.

I am of two opinions here. Either these points matter or they don't. I guess it really doesn't matter, but if the community feels these points do matter than I feel that this correction should be made.

I post things because 1) I can ... 2) I think someone other than myself will enjoy it. Yes, I have a ton of points, but that's because I'm retired, read a lot, and Poal provides me with a place to kill time and post things I read. I never have and never will post for points. They're worthless internet BS and mean almost nothing, especially here on Poal where they buy you no more functionality, privilege, or perks than a low point user, which is fine with me. So I'm not seeing a problem. Where am I wrong?

If you properly posted them in a jokes sub or if you started up a dead baby joke sub, you'd be right on the money, wouldn't you? Your whining sounds like a redditer or voater trying to discourage posting here.

Your friends here are too polite to call you out for your frequent low-value posts, but you attack them nonetheless? I take it for granted that you were the inspiration for the original post. If not then you well could have been.
