It will only be obvious if you catch it when it say 14 - 88. Anything higher can only be assumed that 14 and 88 were hit at some point but not necessarily at the same time. The example of 15 posts and 88 points but the 88 points only accumulated after 15 posts were made. What do then?
if you get the notification for a 14/88 badge when you hit 14 posts 88 points can it be more obvious? Obviously it can be coded however.

Depends on when the code runs. If it runs in real time as posts/votes come in then it could work. If it's a job that runs hourly (for example) then it would be rare to spot 14 - 88. Lots of complexity to the coding aspects here.
