PQR = Post Quality Ratio s = Score p = Posts c = Comments

s / ( p + ( c * 0.75 ) ) = PQR

6048 / ( 187 + ( 2093 * 0.75 ) ) = 3.44 PQR

Comments don't get upvoted as much/often as posts do so that is the reason the comments were reduced by 25%.

Score and counts don't represent quality accurately. Many people just upvote posts based on the post title, the poster or just because they upvote most everything. That doesn't indicate that the post is quality or not. On top of that, define post/comment quality in an objective manner. You cannot do it objectively because it is purely subjective.

We'll have to decide for ourselves what quality content is. Showing a fake and gay score will lead to more false upvoting of mediocre content simply because a lot of sheep will get caught up in the momentum of "big number good" rather than actually actually reading/seeing the content. This idea will promote more bad interactions.

I know you'll fight me on this because you get butthurt easily and fight me on everything else we've interacted on, but what I said is based on truth that's been seen everywhere such an arbitrary ranking system exists. Sorry but that's how it is IRL.

I did take a look, but the disparity prevents it from being fair.

200 / (3+(30*0.75)) = 7.84 PQR

6048 / (187+(2093*0.75)) = 3.44 PQR

24611 / (5366+(7353*0.75)) = 2.26 PQR

The more active the lower your PQR, since the comments aren't as upvoted as much as posts.

isn't the date joined and level ratio better than that?

Better? No Equally valuable info? Yes

level / days is more about activity than quality imo. Enough 2 vote posts in a short time can get you a good ratio for that calculation. Why not have both displayed on the user info page.

By level I should have said point to daily posts/comments.

I still think that is more about activity vs quality. Activity ratios are easily skewed with lots of posts regardless of quality. You always get at least one point for a post.

What I propose is 100% quality driven (decided by the users). How many posts/comments in relation to how many upvotes recieved from the community defines the average quality of posts made by a user.
