If you click on a post the page will open in a new tab, but if you click on the thread link (the comments button) it opens in the same tab. Then when you go back to the main page you have to scroll back to where you left off. Yes I know you can long press or right click to get the new tab option, but it would be way more convenient to just have it as the default opening method if one chooses so.

Just noting for anyone that may not know: most browsers have default functionality of opening a link in a new background tab when you click it with your scroll wheel button instead of clicking with the left mouse button or right-clicking > 'Open in new background tab'.

Alternatively, ctrl-shift-leftclick opens a link in a new foreground tab.
