The idea would be to have a way to manually (or automatically) check a link to see if it has already been posted before having to click the "Submit Post" button. Either auto-check the link when it is pasted into the link field or add a button that allows you to check the link to see if it is posted after pasting it in the link field.

Thought this up after the AOU and @MrFadedGlory responses in the other thread.
