an interesting search/browsing feature for the site would be browsing by filetype. Like shows all gifs posted in chronological order etc. groups all pdfs etc and so on. like you don't even have to do it for all file types or anything. a poal gif feed could be cool tho and encourage more gif posting

depends, it's a pretty broad suggestion. Like if he just creates a gif feed or something then meh, the nsfw feature is a double edged feature that hides shit as well. Anyways, just watch, aou will do this in the slickest way possible. I love how clean he keeps the interface.
