Meh. Here is my experience with that. Any time I go against voats grain on anything the same people come out of the wood work and post the same thing from my history out of context to try to get everyone to hate me. It mostly doesn't work because I respond to the most upvoted people who aren't them who respond to the posts. I explain the comments in context and everyone who looks at the thread from then on thinks the whole thing is fucked up.

I simply tried to show how the obscenity doctrine of the supreme court uses poor logic and how that poor logic could be used to ban the use of racially charged language. Pretty useful thing to warn against IMHO.

It's become a tool of the sheep herders of voat.

That is interesting. I did not realize people were using that for nefarious purposes. Although there is nothing that could stop them from doing similar things with any part of a person's comment history.

voat.co already exists.

You way as well say all these derivatives are worthless because reddit already exists.

I am not making posts wanting unnecessary features. Control freaks who want to judge a persons username easily seek out features like that. It's not needed and there are better things to have. Like actual discussion, the thing reddit and the other derivatives clearly lack.

Pfft. Typical green user thing to say. jk man good to have you back.

I don't like this idea. Often used devisively on Voat

Looks like I underestimated the amount of ass-fuckery that happens with this feature.

lol, it's a good thing you suggested this idea. Otherwise, you'd likely never have known

I'd like to have top/worst comments by default only be visable to the user, with a setting allowing users to make it public if they'd like.

Yeah. My original prompting for the idea was because I was curious about my own comments/posts. I just thought it was fun little feature, but I guess asshats will ruin everything.

I don't like it. Too 'nosey'. Let us comment/post in peace without other users getting sensationalist and judging your profile like that.
