On desktop it's not an issue but on mobile it sometimes makes inserting a link a pain in the ass.

Never thought of doing it that way I guess. Just got into the habit of doing it the way I mentioned. No biggie, I've gone this long...

I could make it an option in user settings, because most people are used about it being on top of the content.

I did try it on the dev instance and you were right.

It fits perfectly fine at the bottom of the text-area content and feels more natural.

I just rolled an update to apply that change.
