How about when the op of a post likes your comments. Besides a plus 1. You get a "Liked by OP" too. Also we could have "Hated by OP" for a down vote.

Because sometimes I do hate a comment, but it isnt spam so I just dont vote.

Lol! I've had so many I almost know who will be sure to leave a non value added comment on certain posts. If they can make me laugh, I'll upvote it. If I feel compelled to respond in the moment, I do. Otherwise I just ignore it. I've used about 9 downvotes in all the time I've been here.
