There’s a (client-side) way to do it (not working on mobile).

Check @Pembo210’s YAPE (github.com). You’ll have to modify the code to match Poal’s CSS (classes/ID).

I know it's a security issue and attack vector, but it would be nice to have some of the Poal API available again. I used the API in my own scripts to get the user account age information and posting counts so I could quickly determine if OP is indeed a faggot or not. It's also good for spotting sleepers who recently woke up. I don't expect the API back, but if you ever get around to it, it would be nice to bake the hover over username account stats feature into the Poal code.

It was a voat extension from early voat days. Added a lot of functionality but I recall it let you add notes to usernames that showed up when you hovered over, like a tooltip.
