Pending A new sort button

I think if would be awesome if there could be a new sort button that allowed you to sort in reverse order, from where you left off when you were last browsing Poal. That way you would come forward in time instead of going backwards. I really like to see as many posts as I can so that when I want to post stuff I am not re-posting stuff that was posted a few hours ago. If I could just pick up where I left off this morning before work I could scroll to the latest post and be all caught up. Also I like to up-vote people for good content and it is nice (IMO) to up-vote the original posts on stories. Not the guy who doesn't actually use Poal and doesn't realize that the three articles he posted today were already posted a couple times just an hour ago. (Not literally today, but I see this scenario frequently)

I'll take a look at it and see if that can be something available for a few beta-testers only.

I had another idea that might work better. Maybe a button you click on a post that is like a bookmark, done with a cookie? Then at the menu at the top there could be a "return" button that would take you back to that post and you could scroll forward from there? Whenever you click the bookmark button it would reset to that post and forget the last. Just spit balling, I don't do this work but I thought I would throw that out there.

Ok done it both server and client side.

I will use a script to test which way will end up being the one.

Advantage of the server side version is that you can go from one device to another and continue where you left off.

I also need to think about how to implement it. Either users will have to manually click a bookmark on a specific post (like you mentioned) or automatically bookmark the last visited post.

That's awesome!! Last viewed post was my initial thought but I didn't know if that was possible.
