Its almost a non-issue on my larger phone, but I don’t daily that one because it’s clumsy and just too big to be practical for me. But like I’ve said before, the two phones that stay with me are a 6s and a SE. a smallish screen and a really small screen.

You can try the tap with the corner of your finger nail (smaller surface area) to see if it does reduce false detections.
