webm and pdfs are insecure for a myriad of reasons. it would be nice to know when these files are being directly linked.

furthermore, webm files can't even be opened on iphones without jumping through a number of lengthy hoops.

Webm don't have specific thumbnail. Only mp4 are tagged, which means they are supported. PDF files also have their own thumbnails.

webm is admittedly the most frustrating, it would be nice if they stood out, so people knew not to click on them when on an iphone or when they aren't in a VM.
