webm and pdfs are insecure for a myriad of reasons. it would be nice to know when these files are being directly linked.

furthermore, webm files can't even be opened on iphones without jumping through a number of lengthy hoops.

Webm should be boycotted by people. Using that joogle tech reinforces their hegemony.
