Please consider adding a column to the Blocked Users list that notes if the account has been banned (or a symbol near their name, or their name is striked through).

When a user is deleted, the blocked user's name in the Block List is shown as [Deleted] and are easily identified as a wasted block slot and can be removed to free up the block slot.

However, to identify banned users who can be removed from the list to free up a block slot, each blocked user's individual page must be visited to see if they are banned (or regularly follow the SiteLog and cross reference newly banned users against the blocked list).

Something to visually show the blocked account is banned from the Blocked Users page would be appreciated.

Regarding blocked accounts that have been deleted since, I think I’ll run a script (from time to time) to automatically remove them from the blocked users table in the database.

A periodic trimming of those accounts and automatically cleaning them from the blocked users list would also be very appreciated if you were to implement such a task. Thank you for considering that as well!

What is the reason to limit how many blocked users you have? Can this be exploited to slow the site? Why not simply allow unlimited blocks?

Because some users did try to see if that would be the case and then asked for their accounts to be undeleted, claiming they did delete them by accident (drunk or high on whatever).

I get why you'd limit how many people a new account can block. So obvious glowwies can't come block all the established users and shield themselves from comments. But yeah, I only have two serious troll/shill accounts blocked. I don't know how people need so many slots lol.

Yeah, I don't get blocking users. (pic8.co) Unless someone is spamming you, then I can understand. I can't fathom needing 50 slots, but I do wonder the point of limiting it. To each their own.

No. There are two or three specific topics you and I are not in agreement on where I may dislike your view, but I find many of the things you post on other topics to be useful and even insightful at times.

I don't use my block list very much, actually. It is mostly for temporary trolls who I expect will be banned or who will delete soon anyway, so I then clean them off after a couple weeks. Nearly every one on the list now is either a new account or recently activated old account and has some form of troll/shill icon/badge.
