Take this post for example. That post belongs in /s/lgbt. I don't want to see it or be reminded about it. I'm not into deleting peoples posts so that is off the table. I would just move it, but since I don't own or mod that sub I can't move the post (pic8.co).

Can there be a system where if I try to move a post the owner of that sub I want to move the post to will get a notification (request) to allow/deny the post to be moved?

Honestly that still kind of sucks cause what if the sub owner/mods are never on? There has to be a way...

I understand how it works. That's why I made this request. There's no options as a sub owner/mod except sticky or delete. Neither of those are suitable. As it is now I would have to ask starjello if I could mod his sub so I can move one post. Seems redundant.

Only site-wide mods (approved users) can move posts around (all actions are logged in sub logs).

Oh that's easy then. Approve me. Lol

There goes my solution.

Hook it up. I never see you on. That's what the notification request was partly about. If you're not on I could just click the move button and you would be sent a request that you could either approve, deny, or ignore when you got back on poal.

It does seem neat, but I can imagine autists fighting over proper categorization...actually, I fully support the idea.

Of course there isn't. Why would a regular mod have the ability to move anyone's posts around?

This would obviously being abused by trolls.

Right. Hence the request part.

I can understand where you are coming from. Still sucks cause it doesn't stop people from posting degenerate off topic gay shit in my sub.

The problem is that it's an "anything goes" user sub that has recently been transferred to you, upon request.

If you didn't want specific content (that doesn't violate the ToS), you should have created your own instead.
