2 levels of blocked subs

I've been thinking about a two-level sub block (there's currently only one, which means when a sub is blocked, no posts from there will show up in your feeds)

How about a:

level 1 = sub is blocked, but its posts are still showing up, only to be dimmed, like the algoed fag's comments

level 1 = /all/new only sub block. That way only posts from blocked subs that will reach the front page (/all/hot-pop-top) will show up.

That means you don't have to see all the new posts from a blocked subs you have no interest in, but if some posts from these blocked subs get to the front page, they might be worth watching them.

Maybe not dimmed because it still clutters the feed. Maybe it just lets a few through, like the most up voted ones or most commented ones

Yeah today I ran into someone whinging about a sub that put in 4 pages and 3 threads of posts in one day. Dimming wouldn't quite fix that issue.

What about a /all/new only sub block? That way posts from level 1 blocked subs that get to the front page (/all/hot-pop-top) will only show up there.

Dimmed seems to highlight wanting to see what it is too. Also the main thing is to get it off the feed (I guess). Maybe have it minimized but not actually consuming a ie front page slot?

Or possibly another option to only see blocked subs?

You'll still be able to use the current one when your account will reach level 10.

Perhaps the Level 1 block shouldn't be called a block but instead a filter.

I don't see it being necessary. The site is not so huge that you can't easily scroll by. But I don't have any subs blocked except /BigIsland or whatever.
