You could subscribe to various users and make use of the PIF feed.
That's the correct answer. Thanks Titus.
You're welcome. It's a very handy feature.
I browse Hot and New, but I always check my PIF tab. It is a great way to ensure I see the posts from the users I enjoy interacting with.
That would create a huge filter and you would miss a ton of posts. There are too many, users and too many subs for that. A user whitelist while being able to block a whole sub is much cleaner. You don't have to have everyone in your whitelist. Just users that post in subs you have blocked.
/s/qstorm would be an example. There are only a couple users in there that post anything worth while. And instead of putting related articles in one post, they make a new post for every article. /new/all looks nice when you block that sub, but I still want to see posts from some of the users.
A user whitelist
The people you follow is the whitelist. If you like 'user X' on qstorm, follow him and then block the sub. I would think his post would still show up on your PIF feed even though that sub is blocked.
I get it about the Q subs, they personally don't bother me. In fact I think the content there was gotten better over the last few months. However, If I go to post content and I see it is posted to a Q sub, I go ahead and repost it, I see how many users have blocked those subs.
Im going to try right now. I still think you're missing out on a lot of posts using PIF.
