What if I want to block a sub because 99% of the shit posted is retarded. But, there are a few users who post often in that sub that aren't completely retarded. It would be nice if I could whitelist those users so if they post in a blocked sub I can still see their post.

I only scroll through /all/new. There are too many subs to try to subscribe and follow stuff. At this point it's just easier to tell poal what I don't want to see vs what I do want to see.

A user whitelist

The people you follow is the whitelist. If you like 'user X' on qstorm, follow him and then block the sub. I would think his post would still show up on your PIF feed even though that sub is blocked.

I get it about the Q subs, they personally don't bother me. In fact I think the content there was gotten better over the last few months. However, If I go to post content and I see it is posted to a Q sub, I go ahead and repost it, I see how many users have blocked those subs.

Im going to try right now. I still think you're missing out on a lot of posts using PIF.

I'm not saying use PIF only. But as a way to see user's posts from a sub you have blocked.

You'll probably do well to gradually subscribe to the subs you enjoy the most. Poal used to be small enough, that I would be able to read every single thing posted. That hasn't been something I've been able to do for awhile now.

Ok. So PIF is the whitelist. I can work with that. I wish now that I could unsubscribe from all subs even defaults. Start from scratch...
