I had a thought. (Yes, it hurt but I'm OK now.)

An "Ignore" button. Something to turn user posts, comments, etc. that light-grey color usually reserved for Schlomos. It would be different from blocking the user in that you can still engage with them but they'd be easier to scroll past if you wanted to.
