I'm not saying for poal to archive a link. That would be resource intensive.
However for some archive sites like archive.*, the archived URL is not included in the archive link. It gets it's own unique code.
This way I could submit a CNN article using archive but in the submission it would have an optional slot* for the actual URL.

where the 4th option "Unarchived" isn't necessary for submission but allows for the dupe post algorithm to catch it.
