Doesn't matter. Even if from different sources but the same title they will still post away. I try not too double post but I do not catch it either. I think it's for the gibs regardless.

Way back when, for a brief period of time, there used to be a pop up that told you the same link was posted (I think it was a 2 hour window), and asked if you were sure you wanted to post the same thing. You’d have to ask aou or boobs why it no longer appears to be a thing.

Certainly not on poal. You might be confusing it with another place.

We actually have an algorithm for duplicate posts within the same sub. you can only repost the same link in a sub every 14 days or you'll get a warning with a link to the most recent repost.

Regarding crossposting, we've been analyzing how poal is evolving and noticed an increase of duplicate posts in different subs. So we will probably come up with a solution that will ask a user if they want to crosspost when reposted on the same day.

There's also a "related" button that will appear under a post's title (button bar) that will show a counter and link to all the posts that share the same url. (https://poal.co/s/Poaldev/290522)

Thanks for the clarification (memory reminder lol). It was definitely Poal as I’m not on another forum. I must’ve been thinking about the 14 days in the same sub scenario.
