I'm no programmer, so I'm not sure exactly how difficult it would be to trash the current system and update the website with a fully functional, intuitive messaging/notification tab. But you guys gotta do something about it because the current system is the lowest effort shit I've ever struggled to wade through in my entire life. No offense. But being able to quickly and easily see who responds to a post or comment, seeing who likes and dislikes posts, all in a nice and neat intuitive tab would be very much appreciated. Having an actual "categories" box would be of tremendous help. Also, when creating a new post, having the option to create a new sub/category (if there isn't a way to do it already that I am just unaware of) would be a great idea. But otherwise, keep up the great work.

Creating a sub on-demand like that is a stupid idea, subs have an owner, mods and implies some level of responsibility, they're not just a category, it's also it's limited to level >=10 users.

seeing who likes and dislikes posts

you get that at level 6

The only thing I find gay is the fact that none of the messages are marked as read if they're displayed for 1-2 seconds.
