It would be nice to be able to input a link to a post or comment when administering a ban, so that a specific post or comment could be cited along with the ban reason.

This could be used either by a user to see if a ban was justified, or by a mod in cases where an explanation for a ban is demanded a few days after the fact. Overall, it would facilitate transparency.

Only poal.co links should be accepted of course.

So you mean the comment that resulted in the ban of someone should remain public? What if it's spam or illegal content (breaking the ToS)?

It's an optional feature. You don't have to link to anything unless you want to.
