While scrolling, I noticed on 3 mobile browsers, I do not have an option to display in desktop mode. I also do not have the ability to have a Taskbar while browsing Poal on mobile. I occasionally use the Taskbar to switch from different sites in order to archive things.

Is there a simple way to correct this? @AOU

I do not have an option to display in desktop mode.

There's no desktop mode for mobile because the UI would be unusable.

You can browse in landscape mode (shows as desktop if your display is wide enough).

I also do not have the ability to have a Taskbar while browsing Poal on mobile.

It's called the sidebar and you can trigger it by tapping on the blue "sidebar" (top left menu).

The sidebar is different depending on where you are (home page, sub, post, your PM/profile/settings...).

I can't find this blue button of which you speak. I accomplished removing the sidebar once, but it returned forever.

Your device is using a desktop resolution. Did you force the desktop view?

The sidebar is showing on your right side.

No, Firefox "desktop site" is off. However, the display is 1280x800, so maybe the responsive CSS thinks it is a desktop.
