I just figured that since we log everything else for mod and owner accountability, it makes sense to have logs for user accountability as well. But, if it'd be too much work at the database, maybe not then. Would there be acceptable workarounds, such as treating new edits as completely different posts, then putting them in place of the original, or something?

I'll look into it, but it would be a ton of work, it would change the schema of the database a little bit and require quite a bit of work on how comment sections work. I'll think on it and see what I can think up.

Honestly, long term it wouldn't be too much work, but short term my to do list that I have for poal it just keeps getting longer. I knock things out and 3 more pop up for everyone I complete. So what I'll say is someday I'll get to something like this as I like the idea but it probably won't be today.
