With the way the database is handled, it would take a lot of work to do so. I also think it's not the best way to handle shills.
Disabling the ability to edit a message/post after a certain amount of time would probably end up being more effective.

I think I agree, disabling the ability to edit a comment after a certain amount of time would be just as effective. If anyone disagrees please let me know.
I just figured that since we log everything else for mod and owner accountability, it makes sense to have logs for user accountability as well. But, if it'd be too much work at the database, maybe not then. Would there be acceptable workarounds, such as treating new edits as completely different posts, then putting them in place of the original, or something?

I'll look into it, but it would be a ton of work, it would change the schema of the database a little bit and require quite a bit of work on how comment sections work. I'll think on it and see what I can think up.
