Related, it doesn't seem possible to have 2 or more blank lines between text.
I placed 3 blank lines between these 2 lines but it collapses into just 1 blank line on submitting.

This ^ line break above right here is unsightly -- the space between quote and text below is way too big. I get that it's meant to separate the ideas, but they're a completely different color already.
In addition, if I write a sentence and press enter one time to return immediately below the beginning of that sentence, there is no change. My only option is to create a line break between two sentences, which again can be unsightly.
Please change, thank you, love you!

that bugs me too - to break a sentence with markdown, which this editor uses, you end it with a space and backslash, however that's doesn't work here for some reason
line one \ line two
That's how the hardcoded markdown works on poal. Use a double space at the end of a sentence before pressing return.

oh wow
thanks for that tip!
I just dug through 20 pages of your comments to find this... damn I miss searchvoat...
Sorry about the F-U the other day, I get lippy when I drink.
wait
i need 2 spaces
here to make like breaks
ohhhh
THANK YOU
But I want to write words immediately below the sentence without being in quotes.
then use the P markdown
or add 2 spaces at the end of a sentence
before pressing enter
I don't know how to separate paragraphs. (Phone posting.)

So I press > and this happens. Press > again. (Just testing it out.)
You don't need to submit comments to test. The preview works exactly the same way.
If it works in the preview, it will work in the comment as well.
