There are multiple places where expandos will open and close when right clicking such as trying to open a link or get to other context actions that are pretty annoying and not every expando responds to right clicks this way. I think it would be better and more consistent if they only opened and closed on left clicks.

If there is already and option for this I guess I am just blind and please point me to it.

You can't open both at the same time (media and context)

The expando doesn't respond to right click.

When you use a right-click on the expando icon or its content, it opens your browser's contextual menu.

That is currently not the behavior I am experiencing while using "Waterfox Classic " to access Poal. Some examples include the video expando under post titles while browsing /all, and image embeds in comments.

That's an issue specific to your browser then.

The expando doesn't react to right-clicks in the viewport (it's reserved for contextual menus)

As far as I know that is what the tech people call them.
