We've all seen the back-and-forth regarding nuked accounts and vote manipulation. Rather than continue along this path I figured I'd ask @AOU and @PMYB2 for some clarity.
Gents, please update the welcome page, user guide, etc. with a bit more information on the preferred use of the down-vote and add some information on vote rigging / vote manipulation as well. The more information the better.
Now, for the rest of you, I'd like your thoughts on an alternative to the voting buttons.
I've already chatted with the admins about the possible addition of a third button; let's call it "Fuck You" for now. It would be available to Red Barrons and up and would be in addition to up and down. The only possible downside I see to that is it could also be used to harrass or annoy people. Fuck You trolling, so to speak.
No points would be awarded for fucking someone nor would they be taken from someone who gets fucked, but it could be a funny alternative to the standard voting.
