One of the things I’ve noticed (generally speaking) is that most folks have conflated inclusion with accommodation. Redditards are a prominent example.
They laughed when users were banned. Then they got banned themselves. So they flocked to Voat in droves, demanding accommodation, but labeling it as inclusion. In other words, they landed at Voat and demanded that we change it to Reddit for them.
Bitch, are you here? Good, you’ve been included. Don’t like something? Fucking go away then or avoid it or say something about it. Don’t go whining that you should be accommodated.
Fair fucking point. I'm a judgmental prick, but I haven't had enough time to accurately judge this place. Until I get to that point, I'm just gonna act as if it's fine and try not to shit where I eat. The value I found in voat, and here so far, is that it's an opportunity to laugh and make other people laugh. It makes me a happier person to make people laugh, and I need that.
