Why do you care so much about other accounts who actually contribute by sharing diverse links to known websites?
It wasn't about diversity, in fact a lot of the stuff was already posted. The user was just posting to get his internet points.

When a repost occurs in the same sub before 14 days, the submitter is notified with an error and a link to the original post is provided (you can't force that).
When a repost occurs in the same sub after 14 days, /u/Pauline comes in to remind OP that their submissions have already been submitted.
I thought Pauline was dead
