Either way, the idea would be to simply have a way to count 'downvotes' on any comment which did not change the comments rank/position and which did not impact the user's site score. It's just a way to quantify dissent that is ineffectual, but which would let people get the steam out. I think it would be hilarious to find a comment with 50 YAN. Or 50 Jew stars. This way, people could express disagreement generally, without really hurting anybody, and without having to muck up a thread with a bunch of unnecessary comments. In other words, we kind of all agree that to disagree with someone without making an argument, you're just gonna call them a nigger. And there will be a button for that.
