You might have a bug going on because I don't see what you are talking about.

The embed video can't exceed it's parent div's width.

Can you post a screenshot?

I am currently on mobile.

But the video (tested in /s/dailymotion) appears to have some vh limit of ~90.

However, on desktop, zooming in and out does hardly resize the video.

Actually, I can fix it myself using a browser add-on that allows custom style sheets.

I can't reproduce that issue. The video doesn't overlap/overflow its parent div.

I'm gonna need more details (browser/version) and a screenshot of the issue to see what you are exactly talking about.

It does also not overlap for me. However, the video viewport covers a similar amount of space on the screen regardless of the zoom level, which could be somewhat inconvenient when I want it to be smaller.
