This could be substituted with something like:

<span class="echoechoecho">(((da joos)))</span>

Probably after compiling the markdown into html, but before saving the object to the db.

Not everyone knows those things, so pointing them out is not pointless. However, to cut to the chase, I simply like this textfilter. Greentext, gaytext, and (((echoechoecho))) are great textfilters.
