I am not sure if this has not been suggested already, but I suggest the log to record:

  • If a moderator added or removed a flair option in /s/subversename/edit/flairs.
  • Who added which flair to a post.

If someone in the moderation team of a subverse happend to misuse flairs (e.g. by re-flairing random posts to random flairs), that could be helpful.

Logging everything a mod does, especially down to flairs, sounds a little bit too much of an Orwellian place.

Didn't think of it that way. You're right.

Janitors can also add/change the flair of posts.

Maybe another way to handle it would be that the admins (you and PMYB2) should be able to efficiently undo the damage of a rogue janitor/moderator, in the very rare occasion of it happening. Never happened so far, and probably won't happen in near future. But when Poal has tens of thousands of users in future, it is likely going to happen at some point. (Also, maybe not only because of a rogue moderator/janitor, but also because of compromised accounts.)
