Don't forget the double line break , i.e.:

It currently does only the first line break when pressing reply.

Button to add selected text as a quote to the comment when the text box is already activated

How can you get both the text (from someone to be quoted) and the <input> box selected at the same time?

I think by giving the text box an additional attribute that somehow identifies it with its parent post.

This feature is present in some forum software (Discourse, phpBB, XenForo, vBulletin), as far as I can remember (certain about Discourse).

Edit: Non-urgent, obviously. But good for convenience.
