I can remember having replied to a comment under a nearly 6-month-old (closure threshold) Reddit post. I got a reply, but when I wanted to reply to the reply, the thread was unfortunately *archived*. I suggest Poal.co to postpone the thread archival (lockdown) if at least two participants are still communicating. Side note: I checked *Saidit.net* (Reddit alternative based on Reddit's original software), and they have actually set the maximum thread age to indefinite, which means that threads there never expire.
