It would be good if subverse moderators could set extended thread lifespans (prior to archival), such as 1 year, 2 years, and maybe indefinite.

When I was on Reddit, I have noticed that many threads that were still relevant were archived because they passed the age of six months, therefore I was unable to participate in those.

It would also be good if extended thread lifespans could be set for individual threads (i.e. megathreads).
