Joe Biden is always wearing a mask. That means getting him to say whatever you want in a video requires no video editing. How no one has taken advantage of this is beyond me.

It makes sense that the media would stoop to it. They've never cared about honesty at all. They probably don't even care if they get caught considering they have been caught entirely making up stories from footage they have larger context for with absolutely zero consequences or impact on their influence. For example when they made a big stink over crowd size at the inauguration by using photos of the area before most of the crowd was permitted to go onto the grass. Or when they took a video of a kid having a drum beat in his face and called him a horrible racist as if that was video proof.

The subject of replacing audio has had to come up after the "salute the marines" issue. Someone had to have said, he is wearing a mask, we could have just edited it out.

Next we have the issue of live press conferences occurring at the rose garden while someone filming the rose garden from the outside could show that no such event was actually happening.

So everything is now a post production result. We can do post production too. The mask will help no matter who is doing it. A combination of utterly obvious memes and more subtlety will force them to stop. We want to see the supposed president's lips while he's talking. That's a reasonable thing to ask for.

Till then, we will make memes.

Every time someone whispers to another person while wearing a mask, make fart jokes. “I think Biden shit himself”. Oops, hot mic!

because it hurts us more than it would help us...lets not start faking shit when they are already using greenscreen footage and not catching the glitches before they get out

The real subtlety will be using the already altered footage so that when people demonstrate ours is fake, it will come up that the original is fake too.
