Yup. Good peanut butter is worth stocking up on and is good for quite awhile beyond its expiration date.

It's also very nutritionally dense. One 28 ounce jar is enough to supply a person with half of their protein and calories for 4 days. Yeah, maybe it sucks to eat peanut butter every meal, but if you're trying to survive it's cheap, stores well, and provides lots of nutrition.

There is no such thing. Peanut oil separates from the solids over time at room temperature. Any peanut butter that doesn't need stirring has other ingredients.
